Emerald Cut
2003 - Purebred Arabian Mare
Emerald was the heart of the program: kind, patient, and deeply trusted by riders of all ages. She helped build MSB from scratch, introduced more riders to the saddle than any other horse in the barn, and is remembered with gratitude.
MSU Shai Girl
2008 - Purebred Arabian Mare
Friendly, attention-loving, and always first at the gate, Shai connects deeply with the right rider. She is a western mount with a big personality and a genuine bond with her students.
Whoz Your Daddy
2003 - Half-Arabian / Saddlebred Gelding
Whoz is bold, spirited, and deeply loyal to riders he knows and trusts. He is clever enough to test someone new, which makes him a genuinely educational ride once you have earned his respect.
Young mare - Western all-around
Lane is our youngest horse here. She is calm, sweet, and very smart. She is coming along in training, already youth friendly, and developing into our western all-around horse.
Half-Arabian - Western pleasure
Artie is a very relaxed western pleasure half-Arabian. He can jog all day long and is exceptionally youthful and beginner friendly, which makes him a steady fit for riders building confidence.
Gelding - Beginner lesson horse
Tito is a big, friendly, and steady gelding who teaches new riders the ropes. He is sweet, patient, and on the lazy side, which makes him a reassuring mount for beginners learning how to ride.
Purebred Arabian - Huntseat pleasure specialist
Zenzo is a big purebred Arabian that specializes in huntseat pleasure. He has an exceptionally calm, non-reactive disposition and a show record pages long with many Class A and national top placings in huntseat and sidesaddle.
Older half-Arabian - Beginner prospect
Legacy is a rescue from a killpen. After rehabbing badly neglected and foundered hooves through 2025 and 2026, he is slowly getting back into work and has a strong chance of becoming a great beginner mount for both adult and youth riders.
MSU Steppin' Out
2011 - Purebred Arabian Gelding
The youngest of the crew and the most recent addition, Steppin has a long show history in English, western, and showmanship. He is well-trained, easy going, and a safe fit for advanced beginners.
EA Tazer Gun
2005 - Arabian / Hackney Pony - 15.2hh
Taz is a stout, powerful saddleseat specialist with all the flash the discipline demands. He loves his job and is a great partner for confident youth riders heading toward the show ring.
